I decided to write a review of Lash Stiletto Mascara because I’ve been seeing a lot of ads about it recently. Lash Stiletto is made by Maybelline, and like most makeup companies Maybelline is trying hard to make us believe that this mascara is the best product ever invented. This quote about Lash Stiletto came from the Maybelline website: Lash Stiletto is “the only mascara that does for lashes what stilettos do for legs.”
Umm… yeah, that’s an overstatement. Let me tell you, this mascara is just like every other drug store mascara on the market today. My lashes simply looked like lashes with a little mascara on… they weren’t extraordinarily long or thick, and they definitely didn’t remind me of stilettos!
Don’t get me wrong, it’s not a bad product… just not fantastic. I can say that it did not clump, even though it flakes a little if you touch your lashes over the course of the day. It comes off fairly easily with soap and water, but it does leave smudges sometimes. If you wanna try it, it was around $8, but I wouldn’t throw out the brand you’re currently using thinking that Lash Stiletto will be much better.
